Wow, I haven’t posted anything in a while. But I have a reason. School just started, and I have a new work schedule. I’ve had other things on my mind. Sorry ’bout that. Do not fear though. Soon, I’ll be posting again. I have a very special post in store for you on Monday or Tuesday, depending on certain circumstances. Also, Beats, Rhythms, and Tunes will be focused on generally the same thing, but something different from now on. So, if you need something to do while you wait, watch this:
Looks pretty homo on those guys. But, it’ll be cool if you could make your own graphics. I wouldn’t mind having a Emotional Face on my shirt while I pass through the halls. Anyways…Neek, out.
There can be many things that are considered to be art. In my opinion, Video Games can be a very convincing and beautiful form of art. However, I do not consider every game a piece of art. Games that gives anyone a sense of emotion is what will convince me that it is art. So, if you haven’t guessed by now, this section is about the relationship of Video Games and Art.
Anyways, there’s one game in particular that I’ve been wanting to talk about. And only a few other games have made me recieve a feeling of adventure, feelings of being a small object in a huge world, and a feelings of absolute freedom. This game is known as The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
There are many things in life that are important to me. Family, school, friends, food, hygene, video games. All of these are very important to me, especially the food. But, if there’s one thing that is truly the importance of my life, it’s my religion. My religion, culture, and race. It’s the one thing that makes me do things that seem right, and every now and then, things that seem wrong. Before you continue, I thought it’d be good to know that I’m not going talk about why Hinduism is better than any other religion, or what makes Hindu beliefs better. I will tell you what, those who are Hindu, do in their lives. Read the rest of this entry »

As I stated before, I’m a geek. But I’m a geek who loves music. So from now on I’m going to do one of these segments. I’ll talk about a certain piece of music and how it speaks to me. Expect these very randomly. I’ll post them whenever I’m in the mood. Check out more after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »
Welcome. So, this is my first post. I feel really cool. Well, i guess I could tell you a little about myself.
Where to start. Hmm. Oh! My names Nikesh, I’m 15 turning 16 very very soon, and I’m into a bunch of things. I love music (Any kind…except country), I love drawing, and looking at various pieces of art. Most of my time nowadays is spent on the computer, working, or playing soccer with some friends. I end up drawing random things at the most random times, but thats boring to talk about.
But there’s a secret about me. A secret, that I’m afraid I have to let out.
I’m a geek.
Yeah, I can’t deny it anymore. I play video games like it’s a drug, I follow video games and the market like some sort of drug dealership. Most of my life is spent on the computer. I read comics every now and then. I listen to them podcast things. I even listen to Video Game music for inspiration. My freakin Nintendo DS is on the internet! You can’t tell me that isn’t geekdom at it’s finest.
So, you’re probably wondering what to expect here. Expect things from my life. That includes Video Game stuff, so deal!
Anyways, in hopes that my blog will one day become awesome, I must sleep. For without sleep, I would probably die. Much like my arms are right now.
By the way, if your wondering about the title, I didn’t make it up. It was Yavin from http://4colourrebellion.com that thought of it. Oh and thanks to Brennan for helping me get this up.
